Eurostat General Manager in CY

Eurostat General Manager, Walter Radermacher, had contacts in Cyprus yesterday. According to the relevant announcement, Mr. Radermacher visited the Statistics’ Service. During his visit, he had contacts with the Manager and the heads of departments of the Service, as well as the Finance Minister, the Finance Ministry General Manager and Central Bank officials. During his contacts, Mr. Radermacher was informed on Cyprus’s statistics’ system and the challenges that the Service has to face in the next few months with the conduct of census in 2011 and agriculture registration in 2010.
