Prices of industrial products fell more in Cyprus compared to the EU, as shown by data released by Eurostat today.
According to new figures from Eurostat (http://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/documents/2995521/6857590/4-02062015-AP-EN....) the prices of industrial products fell by 5.7% in April 2015 compared with April 2014.
In March 2015 prices fell by 5.4%.
Prices declined in all Member States except Luxembourg and Sweden where prices rose by 0.8% and 0.2% respectively. Prices remained stable in Slovenia.
The largest decrease was observed in Lithuania (-8.8%), the UK (-7.1%) and the Netherlands (-5.8%).
In EU-28 prices of industrial products decreased by 2.8% in the fourth month of 2015, while in eurozone prices fell by 2.2%.
