CPC decision on cement

The Commission for the Protection of Competition decided on Thursday to keep its previous decision for the approval of the merger of Vasiliko and CCC cement companies, despite the Attorney General’s opinion. The CPC believes that if the two companies keep their commitments in relation to the pricing, import and supply of cement and ready-made concrete, the deal is acceptable.
