Turnover of wholesale and retail trade decreased in the third quarter of 2020 and plunged in the first nine months of 2020, according to the latest data issued Tuesday by the Statistical Service of Cyprus.
The Turnover Value Index of Wholesale Trade except of Motor Vehicles during the third quarter of 2020, recorded a decrease of 5.5% to 116.5 units (base 2015=100), compared to 123.3 units during the corresponding quarter of 2019.
For the period January-September 2020, the Index recorded a decrease of 7.2% compared to the corresponding period of 2019.
The Turnover Value Index of Wholesale and Retail Trade and Repair of Motor Vehicles during the third quarter of 2020, recorded a decrease of 0.6% to 123.7 units (base 2015=100), compared to 124.5 units during the corresponding quarter of 2019.
For the period January-September 2020, the Index recorded a decrease of 10.7% compared to the corresponding period of 2019.
