Top men in the party of DISY demanded the resignation of Pavlos Savvides from the position of CSE president. Both the president of the Audit Committee, Christos Pourgourides, and the member of the same Committee, Prodromos Prodromou, called Pavlos Savvides to hand in his resignation for reasons of sensitiveness. Mr. Pourgourides stated that despite the fact he might prove innocent (in the framework of investigation against the company he used to be president) Mr. Savvides must hand in his resignation.
Mr. Prodromos Prodromou claims that although Pavlos Savvides was appointed as CSE president, he continued to be a member of the company’s Board of Directors.
