Christos Yiacoumis joins Kyndryl

  • Based in Cyprus he will carry out expanded duties for the region of Central-Eastern Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean  

Christos Yiacoumis has recently joined the team of Kyndryl, the largest provider of IT infrastructure services in the world, as part of the continuous strengthening and upgrading of the company in Cyprus and across the region. Christos takes on the role of CEE&EM Security Associate Partner and will have an expanded role for the CEE and Eastern Mediterranean region, with the aim of helping Kyndryl capitalize on new opportunities arising from strategic partnerships with Digital Security clients in areas such as the public, the banking and private sector.

Christos has more than 15 years of relevant experience in the field of Information Security specializing in providing consulting services to local and international clients to develop and strengthen their organizations' cyber security and resilience. Prior to joining Kyndryl, he was Director and head of Cyber Security & Digital Trust services at KPMG Cyprus. He previously worked at Thales e-Security in the UK for three years as a Software Engineer in the Research and Development department. He holds a BSc in Computer Science/Software Engineering with Business Studies and an MSc in Computer Security from the University of Birmingham in the UK.
