CSE: Suspension of trading of BOCY and BOCYG bonds continues – Delisting of BCSC, BCCB, BCCCB, BCOD and BCOCO

Further to the announcement of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission dated October 29, 2013 and the decision of the Commission to request from the CSE Council the suspension of trading of the titles of Bank of Cyprus Public Company Ltd, we wish to announce the suspension of trading of the following titles from October 31, 2013 to January 31, 2014:

-Ordinary shares (BOCY)
-5.000 Guaranteed Bonds with a date of issue on November 14, 2012 (BOCYG)
-5.000 Guaranteed Bonds with a date of issue on November 27, 2012 (BOCYG BOCYG)

The decision was taken pursuant to article 127(2) of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Laws 2007 to 2012.

As stated, the Commission ended up with the decision so as to give time, based on the timetable given by the Company, for compliance with its constant obligations in relation to the financial information as well as the possible preparation of a Prospectus for the listing of the shares that have emerged from the implementation of the relevant decrees on the CSE.

Also, the Commission decided to request by the CSE the delisting of the following titles of the Company from the CSE:

-Capital Securities 12/2007 (BCSC)
-Convertible Bonds 2013/2018 (BCCCB)
-Convertible Capital Securities (BCCB)
-Convertible Capital Securities of Enhanced Capital (BCCOD)
-Convertible Capital Securities of Enhanced Capital (BCOCO)

As stated, the Commission ended up with this decision since the aforementioned titles have been converted into new ordinary shares and are no longer valid.

Their delisting will be effective from October 31, 2013.
