According to paragraphs (1) and (3) of Article 10 of CSE (Central Depository and Register) legislation of 1996 and 2001, the CSE Council decided that on 15 July 2002 the titles of the following issuers be entered in the Central Register and Central Depository: Alkis H. Hadjikyriakos (Frou-Frou Biscuits) Ltd, Plyntex Ltd, Stario Investments Ltd, Marketrends Financial Services Ltd, Kanika Hotels Ltd, Worldmax Investment Co. Ltd, Laiki Yperagora Orphanides Ltd, Brothers Pipis Farm Ltd. The inclusion in the Central Share Register of the titles of CLR Financial Services Ltd will follow on July 22, 2002.
According to provisions of paragraphs (1) and (4) of article 10 of CSE (Central Depository and Central Register) legislation of 1996 to 2001, the CSE Council decided that the following regulations of CSE regulations 1995-2001 will not apply for submission, completion and clearing of transactions and for announcement of other transactions concerning titles of the listed issuers of Alkis H. Hadjikyriakos (Frou-Frou Biscuits) Ltd, Plyntex Ltd, Stario Investments Ltd, Marketrends Financial Services Ltd, Kanika Hotels Ltd, Worldmax Investment Co. Ltd, Laiki Yperagora Orphanides Ltd, Pipis Farm Ltd with effect from July 15, 2002 and CLR Financial Services Ltd with effect from July 22, 2002.
Regulations 38,39,40,41,42,44,45,46 of CSE regulations of 1995 to 2001, as well as clearance regulations (KDP 306/99) issued according to article 22 of CSE legislation 1993 to 2001 (Regulations 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 and 11).
In accordance with Regulation 6 of the aforementioned Regulations, the Council has also decided to suspend trading in the titles of companies Alkis H. Hadjikyriakos (Frou-Frou Biscuits) Ltd, Plyntex Ltd, Stario Investments Ltd, Marketrends Financial Services Ltd, Kanika Hotels Ltd, Worldmax Investment Co. Ltd, Laiki Yperagora Orphanides Ltd, Brothers Pipis Farm Ltd for fifteen working days, i.e. in the period June 24, 2002 to July 12, 2002 and the trading of CLR Financial Services Ltd from July 1, 2002 until July 19, 2002 (both inclusive) to facilitate the process and ensure that the takeover of the share registers and transition to the new system take place as smoothly as possible. It is hereby noted that during the period of suspension, the Stock Exchange shall not register any transactions in the aforementioned titles, including transactions carried out under Article 23 of the Cyprus Stock Exchange and Securities Law (e.g. free transfers, transfers between members of the same family, transfers following a court order or following the demise of a person, etc). By extension, it is hereby noted that the final trading day of the titles of the aforementioned companies and the final day of accepting transactions pursuant to Article 23 of the Law under the current system shall be Friday, June 21, 2002.
