We wish to inform you that the Board of Directors of Alliance International Reinsurance Public Company Limited will meet on Friday, November 14, 2008 to examine and approve the Interim Management Statement, which has been prepared pursuant to article 11 of the Transparency Requirements Law 190 (1) 2007.
Due to the recent developments after the recent successful outcome of the Public Offer by Flagstone Reassurance Suisse SA and the acquisition of 92.81% of the share capital of Alliance Re, the Company decided not to proceed with the voluntary announcement of the interim consolidated results for the period from January 1 to September 30, 2008.
Flagstone Re has already announced that it has taken all necessary measures for a squeeze out and has applied for the start of the procedure to the SEC.
