INTEREST PAYMENT ON BANK OF CYPRUS PUBLIC COMPANY LTD FLOATING RATE CAPITAL SECURITIES
The investing public is informed that the interest for the quarter 20/11/2007-19/02/2008 on the floating rate Capital Securities Series A and Series B issued by Bank of Cyprus Public Company Ltd will be paid on 20th February 2008.
The record date for those eligible to the interest payment is 6th February 2008, that is buy transactions that take place before market close of the Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) on 6th February 2008 will be eligible to the interest payment.
Furthermore, those eligible to the interest payment will be holders of the above mentioned Capital Securities following off-the-Exchange transfers completed on the 6th February 2008.
The ex-interest date is 7th February 2008.
The interest rate on the Capital Securities Series A and Series B for the quarter 20/11/2007-19/02/2008 is 5,50%.
The investing public is also reminded that Bank of Cyprus will redeem in whole the Capital Securities Series A at par on 20th February 2008. As a result, the last date of trading of the Capital Securities Series A on the Cyprus Stock Exchange is February 14th 2008.
