The Government of the Republic of Cyprus, exercising its right as major shareholder, proceeded yesterday with the appointment of a new Board of Directors of the Company. The new Board of Directors comprises of Messrs. Tony Antoniou as Chairman and Marinos Kallis, Andreas Papadopoulos, Constantinos Papanastasiou, Andreas Petrou, Panicos Himonas, Marios Hadjigavriel, Panicos Kourides, Marios Efthimiou and Demetris Yiannakis as members.
One position in the Board of Directors, which corresponds to the private shareholders of the Company based on their existing participation in the share capital of the Company, will be filled in with elections that will be conducted at a separate general meeting of the private shareholders, pursuant to the Articles of Association.
