In relation to the press reports according to which the Board of Directors of Cyprus Airways Public Ltd handed in its resignation to the President of the Republic, the Company would like to inform the following:
With a letter dated May 2, 2013, the Chairman of the Board of Directors expressed the concerns and views of the Board of Directors in a letter sent to the President of the Republic on several issues emerging from the restructuring plan of the Company together with the proposals of the Board on them.
At the same time, the Board members appointed by the Government of the Republic submitted their resignations to the President.
The Company expects the Government’s decisions.
