The board of the company CLR Investment Fund Ltd. during its meeting on the 22 March 2001, examined and approved the preliminary results of the company for the year 2000.
Results include the consolidated results of CLR Investment Fund Ltd. and its subsidiary Europrofit Capital Investors Ltd. Income from interest and dividends amounted to CYP 4.969.344, losses from liquidation of investments was CYP 6.502.837 with non-realised losses from reassessment of investments reaching CYP 15.558.456, totalling CYP 17.091.949. After-tax losses for the year were CYP 20.818.609, with losses attributable to shareholders of CYP 19.417.990, with losses per share equalling 7,98 cents on an average number of 243,4 million shares compared to 288,1 million shares at the end of the year.
Losses of the company for the year 2000 are approximately 13,5% of the issued capital of the company and this is mainly attributed to the drop in share prices listed on the CSE. The company notes that during the same period the general index of the CSE sustained losses of 65%.
