The Board of Directors of CLR Capital Public Limited announces that at the meeting held on October 5, 2007, it decided to start the merger procedures with Laiki Investment Public Company Ltd.
CLR Capital Public Limited will participate in the Group by 30% and Laiki Investment Public Company Ltd by 70%.
The decision is subject to an ordinary legal – accounting – tax audit, the results of which will be deemed satisfactory by the parties and the agreement as to the terms of the merger plan.
It is also expected that Laiki Brokerage EPEY Ltd, CLR Securities & Financial Services Ltd and Egnatia Financial Services (Cyprus) will merge.
The new Group will be the largest investment services provider in Cyprus.
