The CSE Council, based on Regulation 6, has also decided to suspend the aforementioned titles from the trading floor for the period of 15 working days, that is from January 3, 2003 until January 24, 2003 (both days included) to facilitate the process and ensure an easy transition to the new system. Note that during the period of suspension, and according to Article 13 of the About Securities of the CSE Law, no register of transaction is to take place (free transfers, transfers between members of a family, cause of death etc)

From January 22, 2003, the CSE will accept applications for the opening of trading accounts and/or the transfer of shares to Member of the above companies.

With reference to the investing plans registered on the owner’s name and financed by the Trust (Regulation 11 of the About Securities of the CSE Law), please note that members who act as Trustees or have been authorized by the Trust should mail the completed document of Trustee Appointment and the application for the Trading Account Opening to the companies by January 13, 2003.
We wish to remind you that shares which today are pledged under investment plans are not necessary to be pledged once more. You should, therefore, clarify to companies whether shares are under pledge or free to transfer.

The CSE Council would like to inform the investing public that from the incorporation of the aforementioned titles in the Central Registry the existing certificates of commitment are not valid and investors’ ownership will be proved through the Central Registry and no other certificate issued. Moreover, validity for any pledges or charges will be proved by the Central Registry.

We also inform the investing public that the trading of the titles in the new system will take place through the Central Share Registry opened by investors in the Central Registry. This process is clearly explained in CSE’s investors’ manual for the Central Registry.
