CSE requested SEC’s approval for delisting of Orphanides - Suspension of titles continues

The CSE Council has requested the approval of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, based on its Law, for the delisting of the titles of Orphanides Public Company Ltd. The CSE Council has taken this decision in accordance with the power conferred by Article 178 (1) of the CSE Law, on the grounds that the requirements for the proper operation of the stock market on the shares of this company no longer exist and its continuous obligations are not observed, jeopardizing the interests of the investors.

Specifically, the aforementioned company has not :

( a) Issued and published the Annual Financial Report for the year ended 31/12/2012 and the Six-Month Results for the period ended 30/6/2013, in violation of the CSE Law and KDP 326/2009 (as amended).
(b) Disclosed important information, as its continuous obligations are, and the investing public was not properly informed

(c) It is currently under administration.

Until SEC’s reply is secured, the securities of this company will continue to be under suspension of trading.
