The Cyprus Stock Exchange, following a request by Bank of Cyprus Public Company Ltd, announces the suspension of trading of the Enhanced Capital Convertible Capital Securities (euro and dollars) under the code ΤΚΜΑΕ/BCOCO and ΤΚΜΕΔ/ BCCΟD respectively from Wednesday, March 14, 2012 to Monday, March 26, 2012 (included) so as to secure the proper operation of the market and that the procedure of applications, exchange and final distribution of the Mandatory Convertible Bonds of the Bank is finalized properly.
The above securities will start trading again on March 27, 2012.
This decision was taken pursuant to Article 183 of the CSE Law, for the protection of investors.
It is noted that the trading of the above securities will be suspended on the same dates in the Athens Stock Exchange too.
