The Cyprus Stock Exchange, following a request by Hellenic Bank Public Company Ltd and pursuant to Article 183 of the CSE Law, announces the suspension of trading of the Convertible Capital Securities 1(HBCS1/ΕΤΜΑ1, ISIN CY0144170111) from Tuesday, March 4, 2014 to Friday, March 14, 2014 (included) in order to protect the investors. Specifically, this suspension is deemed necessary within the framework of the implementation of the provisions of the Prospectus dated September 30, 2013 to facilitate the implementation of the activation provisions of the Mandatory Conversion of Convertible Capital Securities 1 into Shares Mechanism for the coverage of the capital deficit (see announcement dated 28/2/2014).
It is noted that during the period of suspension of trading, no off-floor transactions will be conducted, including the Over the Counter (OTC).
