Demetra warrants – Company recommends caution

Demetra Investment Co. Ltd. reminded warrant holders (2000/2002) that the last exercise date is Thursday 31 January 2002, the first exercise date being 2 January 2002, for the purchase of 1 share of CYP 1.00 nominal value per warrant. The exercise price is CYP 1.20 per share. Warrants can be exercised at the Central Cooperative Bank. The last day of trading of the said warrants is the 21 January 2002, that is 8 working days prior the last exercise date.

The company urged warrant holders to take into serious consideration the trading price of shares of the company on the CSE during the exercise period. The company noted that as at the date of this announcement, the price of shares is substantially lower than the exercise price of warrants. If the price of shares is sustained at these levels until the last exercise date of warrants, it states that it would not be beneficial to exercise them. Investors can refer to Lefkoniko Chrimatistiriaki Ltd. for clarifications if they wish.

The board of the company also announced its intention to discuss at its next meeting, a proposal to the AGM for the issuance of new warrants to shareholders.
