Liberty: EGM on September to examine termination of CGC and capital

Liberty Life Insurance Public Co Ltd correctively announces the following in relation to part (b) of the announcement dated August 28, 2013:

The Board of Directors has decided that the Extraordinary General Meeting to take place at the end of September examines a resolution that will concern the Corporate Governance Code and will state that the Company has decided to cease adopting the Corporate Governance Code. The Board of Directors believes that due to the reduction of the Company's activities as a result of the financial crisis, the adoption of the provisions of the Corporate Governance Code is not necessary.

It was also agreed that at the next meeting of the Board of Directors, the talks on the Company’s capital will be completed.
