The Board of Directors of TOP KINISIS TRAVEL PUBLIC LTD decided to proceed with the increase in its shareholding in the share capital of the private company Skedasi IT Systems Ltd, representative of Amadeus Hellas SA in Cyprus, by 9.8% with the purchase of the additional 98 shares.
The total shareholding of TOP KINISIS TRAVEL PUBLIC LTD in the share capital of Skedasi IT Systems Ltd now stands at 19.80%.
The dealing emerged after the decision of a shareholder in Skedasi IT Systems Ltd to sell his stake of 17.50% to the remaining shareholders of the Company. TOP KINISIS TRAVEL PUBLIC LTD acquired 9.80% after the disclaim of the acquisition right on behalf of Messrs. Yiannakis Kelepesiis and Constantinos Kakkouras, Executive Chairman and Managing Director of TOP KINISIS TRAVEL PUBLIC LTD respectively.
TOP KINISIS TRAVEL PUBLIC LTD acquired in the same way, as announced to the CSE on June 17, 2009, a stake in Skedasi IT Systems Ltd of 10%.
Skedasi IT Systems Ltd provides the Amadeus direct air tickets reservation program and holds 44% of the Cypriot market.
With its participation in Skedasi IT Systems Ltd, TOP KINISIS TRAVEL PUBLIC LTD serves its business plans for the increase in its revenues.
This decision, as well as that of June 17, 2009, was taken after the preparation of a study by an independent expert, which has been sent to the CSE.
