Saloon registrations keep rising

Registrations of passenger saloon cars increased by 30,6% to 21.351, from 16.343 in January-July 2016 according to data released on Thursday by the Statistical Service of Cyprus.

The total number of new vehicles registered in the current period reached 11.464 and the number of used vehicles was 14.432.

In July 2017, 3739 new vehicles were registered, of which 1530 were new and 2209 used, compared with 4338 in June. In July 2016, new vehicle registrations amounted to 3260.

The number of saloon cars registered in July this year was 3061 compared with 3657 in June and 2697 in July 2016. The annual increase of registrations of passenger saloon cars stood at 13,5%.

In the period January-July 2017 the total registrations of motor vehicles increased by 31% to 25.896, from 19.766 in the corresponding period of 2016,.
