Permanent Secretary of the Foreign Ministry Alexandros Zenon travels Monday to Moscow to hold bilateral political consultations, at the invitation of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Aleksey Yurievich Meshkov.
The Permanent Secretary`s visit takes place in the framework of the six-month political consultations between Russia and Cyprus, an official press release said on Monday.
Besides bilateral relations, during their meeting the two officials will discuss the ongoing Cyprus talks, international and regional matters, such as the situation in Ukraine and Syria, as well as the EU-Russia relations.
The two countries will sign an agreement on Cooperation in Combating Organised Crime.
