Nicosia hosts the first Trilateral Summit among Cyprus, Greece and Jordan

The first Cyprus - Greece - Jordan Trilateral Summit will take place on Tuesday at the Presidential Palace, in Nicosia, with the participation of the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades, the Prime Minister of Greece Alexis Tsipras and the King of Jordan Abdullah II. The three leaders and their delegations will hold consultations and will sign agreements.

According to a press release issued by the PIO, in the framework of the Trilateral Conference, the President of the Republic and the King of Jordan will also have consultations which will be followed by the signing of bilateral agreements.

The Prime Minister of Greece will arrive first at the Presidential Palace where he will be officially welcomed by the President of the Republic and they will then hold a private meeting.

The King of Jordan will then arrive and will also be officially welcomed by the President of the Republic. A private meeting between the two leaders to follow. Consultations between the delegations of the two countries will then take place and bilateral agreements will be signed following the conclusion of the consultations.

The three leaders will then hold a private meeting which will be followed by expanded talks among the delegations of the three countries. The leaders will then make remarks to the media which will be followed by the signing of agreements among the three countries.

The leaders and their delegations will then attend a working lunch. After that the King of Jordan and the Prime Minister of Greece will hold a private meeting.
