The Public Debt Management Office, of the Ministry of Finance, announced on Tuesday that it received by 19 February, 2016, 85 offers for the total amount of €14,142,900 for six-year government bonds for natural persons (3rd Series March 2016).
According to the Ministry, out of the 85 applications accepted, 81 were submitted by Cypriots and four by foreign investors. The values of applications ranged from €1,500 to €2,500,000. Of the total amount of €14,142,900, €10 million were applications from foreign investors.
The Ministry also announced that it will continue with the 4th Series of six-year bonds of the Republic, maturing in 2022 with a €10 million ceiling. The bonds will be issued on 4 April 2016 and the application period will be 1-18 March 2016.
