The Conference on Cyprus will reconvene in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, Special Adviser of the UN Secretary General on Cyprus, Espen Barth Eide has announced.
Speaking on Friday after a meeting with the President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades, Eide said that this is truly an historic opportunity. We all know that it’s going to be difficult while in Crans-Montana, he said, adding that a lot of work needs to be done before going there.
He added that both sides have confirmed that they go there with the ambition to solve the Cyprus problem.
