The special rules on the transfer of goods through the Green Line will become effective on August 23, European Union representatives to Cyprus announced on Friday. The EU representatives said that the rules which had been approved in July are now published in the Gazette and provide for the transfer of T/C produced and manufactured goods through the Green Line. The goods must be in line with the EU standards and other requirements.
The T/C Chamber of Commerce has been authorized to issue the relevant documents.
