New Household Insolvency Law Credit Positive for Greek Sovereign and Banks, Moody’s Says

A new law passed by the Greek Parliament on the revision of household insolvency legislation (so-called Katseli law), which tightens criteria for the eligibility of borrowers to obtain protection from foreclosure, is credit positive both for the Greek sovereign and its banks, Moody’s said in a report released on Thursday.
