ACCA and the CIF form the Strongest Coalition in the South-Eastern Europe for Combatting Corruption and Promoting Transparency

CYPRUS INTEGRITY FORUM (CIF) proudly announces the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). This initiative hereby forms the strongest coalition in the wider area of South-Eastern Europe, in the fight against corruption and promotion for transparency. A unique coalition which will practically provide the means for a sustainable transition of the Cyprus' business community and professionals in the new era by creating a mutually beneficial collaboration for all stakeholders involved.

Ms Helen Brand, Chief Executive at ACCA commenting on the agreement she mentioned: “ Ethics is at the core of everything we do at ACCA, so it is always a pleasure to partner with like-minded organisations. I was delighted to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Cyprus Integrity Forum, the leading institution in Cyprus for the fight against corruption and promotion of transparency, earlier this week. Their chairman Marios Skandalis FCCA, CFC, CFE, FICA, FCG was present in London to sign the MoU and it was great to discuss potential areas of collaboration.”

On behalf of CIF the Chairman Mr Marios Skandalis would like to thank the Chief Executive of ACCA Ms Helen Brand for this revolutionary initiative as well as all 250.000 members of ACCA for uniting forces against corruption. At the same time Mr Skandalis expressed the readiness of the CIF and him personally, to practically promote transparency in an uncompromised manner, for the benefit of the profession, the countries involved and our future generations.
