Cyprus Olympic Committee and RCB Bank renew their partnership ahead of “Tokyo 2020”

Cyprus Olympic Committee and RCB Bank have agreed to continue on as partners all the way through another Olympic cycle. The two sides have renewed their cooperation for the next three years, which will culminate at the “Tokyo 2020” Olympic Games.

The Cyprus NOC and RCB Bank have been strategic partners since 2016. Since then RCB Bank has been an active member of the sponsorship family of the Cyprus Olympic Committee and is practically supporting every effort for an excellent representation of our country at the international sporting stage and especially at the Olympics Games. The renewal of this cooperation and for “Tokyo 2020” seals with the best possible way the excellent cooperation and reinforces the policy of RCB Bank to contribute to the society and sports of Cyprus.

The renewal of the cooperation between the Cyprus Olympic Committee and RCB Bank was welcomed by the President of the NOC, Mr. Dinos Michaelides. “Our cooperation with RCB Bank has been excellent and I am very pleased that it will continue up to ‘Tokyo 2020’. It is important for the NOC to enjoy the support of organizations such as RCB Bank, which for its part constitutes a highly revered part of Cypriot economy and society”.

The chairman of the Board of Directors of RCB Bank, Mr. Panayiotis Loizides, welcomed the renewal of the cooperation with the NOC, stressing that the cooperation with the Cyprus Olympic Committee is a top point in the sponsorship initiatives of the Bank. “We are particularly proud of our cooperation with the Cyprus Olympic Committee, which promotes the values and ideals of Olympism and represents Cyprus all over the world”.

Concluding, Mr. Loizides extended his wishes with regards to Cyprus NOC’s next sporting commitment: “RCB wholeheartedly hopes for the athletes of Cyprus to be successful and bring home many medals at the upcoming Mediterranean Games in Tarragona”.
