In this context, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Alexandros Pericleous and Stavros Violaris as Associate Partners. This comes as a recognition of the hard work and dedication they display on a daily basis, tirelessly leading their teams to successfully leverage their abilities and constantly meet EY’s global standards and goals in providing exceptional client service. The two newly appointed partners come from the Strategy & Transactions and Assurance service lines respectively and officially take up their new duties from 1 October 2020.
Alexandros Pericleous, Strategy and Transactions Services
Alexandros Pericleous carries more than 15 years of professional experience. Since joining EY in 2011, he has been working on strategy and restructuring, valuation, economic advisory, and M&A projects. Previously, Alexandros worked at a boutique private equity firm in London. He also worked for a management consultancy in the Telecoms Sector in the UK. Alexandros holds an MRICS professional qualification in Valuation of Business and Intangible Assets, an MBA from INSEAD Business School, an MSc in Telecommunications from UCL, and a BSc in Electronic Engineering from KCL.
Stavros Violaris, Financial Advisory and Accounting Services,Assurance Services
Stavros Violaris holds a degree in Αpplied Αccounting, an MSc in finance and he has been awarded the Princess Alexandra medal from Lancaster University for outstanding academic performance. He is ACCA qualified and has done the CFA qualification. Since 2007, Stavros has worked across assurance, tax and advisory practices both in London and in Cyprus. He has a specialisation in Insurance, Banking and Wealth and Asset Management sectors with focus on accounting change programs, risk, finance and other major transformation projects. Stavros is currently leading our Financial Advisory and Accounting Services team in Cyprusin Assurance.
