Fire Safety Week 10-16 May 2021 "Let’s not leave our dreams turn into ashes!"

CNP ASFALISTIKI and CYPRUS FIRE SERVICE, for the 20th consecutive year, are joining forces to organize the Fire Safety Week. The aim is to raise public awareness on issues related to fire safety and the protection of our property, the environment, and above all, the protection of lives.

Let’s not leave our dreams turn into ashes!

In this difficult period we are going through, we are rediscovering the real values of life. Those that give us hope and optimism. Happy family moments in our homes, ‘our shelter’ as we call it, and walks with our loved ones in nature, give us the strength to keep going. We need to preserve these simple and precious things.

During the Fire Safety Week, two informative videos will be released, as well as various radio messages, concerning the protection of the environment and our properties from fire. All Media will be used for the promotion of these awareness messages.

The Fire Safety Week began on May 10, with a press conference held at the headquarters of the CNP CYPRUS Group, in Nicosia. During the press conference, the importance of proactive measures to avoid destructions from fire were highlighted. Let’s not leave our dreams turn into ashes!

The 20th Fire Safety Campaign, which is under the auspices of the Honorable Minister of Justice and Public Order, will take place from 10 to 16 May 2021.
