The “Global CemFuels Award for the Alternative Fuels Project Manager of the Year” was awarded to Mr George Americanos

During the 13^th Global Cemfuels Conference and Exhibition 2019, on February 20th, 2019, Mr George Americanos, General Manager of Enerco- Energy Recovery Ltd, has been awarded the “Global CemFuels Award for Alternative Fuels Project Manager of the Year”. Enerco- Energy Recovery Ltd, associated company of Vassiliko Cement Works Public Company Ltd, is responsible for the treatment and supply of alternative fuels, from waste streams, for the needs of the Vassiliko Cement Works Plant.

Global CemFuels Conference and Exhibition provides information on alternative fuels for the global cement and lime industry. The conference is attended by experts, from all over the world, in the area of cement and alternative fuels production, of waste management, suppliers of equipment for the cement and waste processing industries, as well as other consultants in the field of cement and alternative fuels.

The award confirms the commitment of Vasiliko Cement Works and Enerco - Energy Recovery Ltd to contribute to the circular economy with the rational management of waste through their use as alternative fuels.
