The training sessions were delivered by Board Members and managerial staff working at KPMG in Cyprus, who possess robust technical and soft skills expertise.

Within the framework of the programme, the “Future Business Leader Business Game” was successfully implemented at The Landmark hotel in Nicosia, on the 22th of July, 2019. The participants of the programme had the opportunity to present their innovative ideas to a panel comprised of KPMG Board Members. The students were invited to work in groups to upgrade an existing service/ product of an existing company or to create a new product/service within a start-up business. The students have been evaluated for their presentations’ content, their ideas but also for their presentation and communication skills.

At the end of the trainings, the participants were allocated to several groups according to their area of study (Audit and Advisory) for the apprentice shadowing stage of the programme. A mentor was assigned to them and was responsible for offering guidance and supervision throughout the programme.

The training and practice programme aimed at enhancing participants’ background, developing their employability skills and building their international social network to help them in better understanding the current business environment as well as their future tasks and responsibilities.

The participants had the opportunity to experience the sociable working environment of KPMG in Cyprus, learn their professional working process and communicate with experienced KPMG mentors.
