The world renowned Global Custodian magazine has recently awarded the Custody Unit of Marfin Laiki Bank the prize of Best Sub-Custodian for the Cyprus market. This specific award is the result of a global survey undertaken by the magazine (World’s Best Sub-Custodian Banks 2011) which includes market research, comments from clients on the services provided as well as data provided by the Custody Unit for the year 2010
It is important to note that the high level services of the Custody Unit of Marfin Laiki Bank have been recognised and honoured for the second time by the same magazine (last time in 2009).
The Custody Unit, as part of the Wealth Management Division of Marfin Laiki Bank, provides a wide range of custody services for the Cyprus and global markets, such as:
• Safekeeping of securities (dematerialised and physical titles)
• Settlement of transactions
• Information, monitoring and execution of corporate actions, including dividend and income collection, reinvestment in stocks and shares, exercise of rights, proxy voting, etc.
