Joining forces with Limassol Municipality for Enaerios coastalclean-up activity

Melco Cyprus, operator of Cyprus Casinos (C2) and the upcoming integrated resort (IR) City of Dreams Mediterranean organised a clean-up of Enaerios coast, Limassol on 27 March 2021 under the auspices of the Limassol Municipality. The activity is first of a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening environmental sustainability for the local community.

More than 40 colleagues collected large amounts of waste and debris from the coastline, including plastic bags, bottles, tins, cigarette butts and paper litter while observing government social distancing guidelines. Melco Cyprus volunteers were required to submit negative COVID-19 test results for participation, following strict Health & Hygiene protocols including wearing masks and using disinfectants while working in separate groups of just a few people to maintain safe social distances during the event. The Municipality of Limassol provided volunteers with all necessary equipment.

Property General Manager of City of Dreams Mediterranean and Cyprus Casinos, Grant Johnson stated, “I would like to extend my gratitude and appreciation to the Mayor and the Limassol Municipality for supporting this initiative.
