Memorandum of understanding will be signed in September between the Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce and the Cyprus Hotel Association

The Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce and The Cyprus Hotel Association have the pleasure to announce that a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed in September between the two Organizations with the purpose to formalize an institutional cooperation aimed to develop jointly initiatives and projects for the promotion of Cyprus Tourism and Hospitality sector in all the possible areas.

The Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce, recognized at government level and recorded in the Register of the Italian Foreign Chambers held by UNION CAMERE, aims to contribute to the development of economic, commercial, technical, legal, scientific and cultural cooperation between Italy and Cyprus, as well as among the operators of the aforementioned countries and to encourage the creation of a climate of trust and effective collaboration between the institutions and Italian and Cypriot entrepreneurs.

The Cyprus Hotel Association is the Hoteliers National Trade Union. The history of its foundation goes back to the beginning of the 1930s. Today the vast majority of all hotel establishments and other licensed tourist accommodation units, all over Cyprus, are members of the Cyprus Hotel Association.

The Director General of The Cyprus Hotel Association Philokypros Roussounides has been also directly invited by the President of The Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce Giuseppe Marino, to join the Advisory Board of the Chamber with the purpose to give his contribution in order to support the Board of Directors in specialized areas where he gained significant experience in the previous years.
