New outstanding achievement for PwC trainee in the recent ACCA examinations

Vita Slefendoraite, trainee accountant of PwC Cyprus, achieved first place in Cyprus in paper P4 (Advanced Financial Management), in the recent ACCA examinations. This is the second time that Vita attains a distinction in the ACCA examinations following her achievement in December 2010, when she obtained first place in Cyprus in the Corporate Reporting paper.

Vita comes from Lithuania and holds a BSc degree in Economics. She joined PwC in September 2008 and she is currently working for Global Compliance Services based in Nicosia.

Mr Phidias Pilides, Chairman, Territory Senior Partner of PwC, congratulated Vita for her second outstanding achievement and awarded her with a recognition plaque during a simple ceremony organised to honour her accomplishment.

During the ceremony, Mr Pilides praised her performance and noted that “the continuous achievements of our people result from our commitment to recruit the most talented people and invest in their development. Our corporate culture of excellence in combination with our quality people, allows us to gain a competitive advantage in the quality of work and the value we are able to offer to our clients and stakeholders”.
