PwC Cyprus honoured its people for their distinctions and achievements

PwC's trainee accountants and professionals achieved significant distinctions over the past year. PwC Cyprus honoured the people who stood out for their performance and achievements, in a special event held on Monday, 1 December 2021, in the presence of PwC’s CEO, Evgenios Evgeniou and Head of People, Anna Loizou.

PwC’s people achieved the following distinctions:

Ketevan Topchishvili: Took first place in Cyprus in the ACCA Strategic Business Reporting (SBR) exam in December 2020. She also achieved the highest score in the ACCA Strategic Business Leader (SBL) exam, among students in Georgia.

Irene Gavriel: Achieved first place in Cyprus in the ACCA Advanced Financial Management (AFM) exam, in December 2020.

Alice Simpson: Took first place in Cyprus and 6th worldwide, in the ACCA Audit and Assurance (AA) exam as well as the Financial Management (FM) exam, in June 2021.

Daria Klets: Took first place in Cyprus in the ACCA Advanced Financial Management (AFM) exam, as well as in the Strategic Business Leader (SBL) exam in June and September 2021, respectively.

Kirill Bogdanov: Took first place in Cyprus in the ACCA Taxation (TX) exam, in June 2021.

Gor Shahbazyan: Achieved one of the best marks in Armenia, in the June 2021 ACCA examinations, in the subject of Financial Management (FM).

Elli Dimarelli: Received the Croner-i Prize award for the best overall performance in the Transfer Pricing Option Module of the ADIT examination set by the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Nikolas Nikolaides: He was the winner of PwC’s “Global Digitising the Network (DTN)” Awards in the category Most Powerful Success Story in the Tax & Legal Services for “Finance Partner”, which provides an innovative way of analysing and presenting data, thereby helping management officials make faster and better-informed decisions about their companies.

In statements, Anna Loizou congratulated the winners and stressed that everyone at PwC Cyprus is very proud of the continuous success of its people. "Our long-term goal is the continuous investment in the learning and development of our talented people, supporting them to achieve their maximum potential and enhancing our positive impact on the economy and society at large."
