RCB Bank supporting Robotics Week 2018

RCB Bank Ltd proudly supported the 1st Pancyprian Robotics Week, in the context of its firm corporate belief that the best way to invest in the future is by embracing innovation and education.

The 1st Pancyprian Robotics Week (19/3-23/03/2018) attracted more than 900 children and was organized by the Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK) and ENGINO, a Limassol based innovative enterprise, which has received financing from RCB Bank Ltd to build a new fully automated factory in Limassol, backed by the European Investment Fund (EIF), under the European Union’s Investment Plan for Europe.

The company designs, produces and exports the ENGINO toy system of modular connectors to more than 50 countries across 4 continents, from Latin America to the Far East.

Congratulating the organizers, RCB’s Head of Corporate and SME Lending (Cyprus), Christoforos Stylianides, said that as technology and innovation are key pillars of economic growth and at the top of the banking sectors’ objectives, the Bank will continue supporting such initiatives and innovative companies.

The Robotics Week is a free of charge week of workshops for students from elementary, primary and secondary education, who receive a diploma for their participation.
