The Turnover Value and Volume Indexes of Retail Trade Except of Motor Vehicles have both increased in April 2017, compared to the same month last year, the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus announced.
On the basis of provisional estimates, the Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade for April 2017 increased by 2% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and reached 91,6 units (base 2010=100).
For the period January-April 2017 the index is estimated to have recorded an increase of 3.9% compared to the same period of 2016.
Moreover, on the basis of provisional estimates, the Turnover Volume Index of Retail Trade for April 2017 increased by 0.8% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and reached 93.2 units (base 2010=100).
For the period January-April 2017, the index is estimated to have recorded an increase of 1.9% compared to the same period of 2016.
