Retail turnoverincreases

The Turnover Volume Index of Retail Trade Except of Motor Vehicles increased by 5.8% February 2018, compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and reached 95.3 units, the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus announcedWednesday.
 
On the basis of provisional estimates, for the period January-February 2018 the index is estimated to have recorded an increase of 6.9% compared to the same period of 2017.
 
Moreover, on the basis of provisional estimates, the Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade for February 2018 increased by 2.8% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and reached 91,9 units.
 
For the period January-February 2018 the index is estimated to have recorded an increase of 3.5% compared to the same period of 2017.
