Trade deficit down in July

Cyprus’ trade deficit stood at €258.5 mn in July, from €259.4 mn in June and €376.7 mn in July last year.

On the basis of preliminary estimates for the foreign trade of Cyprus in July 2017, published by the Statistical Service on Monday, the total imports / arrivals were €564,2 mn, of which €385,4 mn were arrivals from other Member States of EU and €178,8 mn imports from third countries.

The total exports/dispatches were €305,7 mn of which €126,6 mn were dispatches to other member states of EU and €179,1 mn exports to third countries.
