Energy Minister to attend 1st Energy Ministerial Conference between Greece, Cyprus, Israel and the US

Μinister of Energy, Yiorgos Lakkotrypis departs on Tuesday for Athens to attend the 1st Energy Ministerial Conference with the participation of Greece, Cyprus, Israel and the US, which will be held tomorrow in the Greek capital.
 
Minister of Environment and Energy, Kostis Hatzidakis will represent Greece, Yuval Steinitz will attend on behalf of Israel and Francis Fannon, Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Energy Resources at the U.S Department of State will represent the US.
 
According to an official press release, during the conference, the four Ministers are expected to discuss , inter alia, areas of potential cooperation.

They are also determine setting up a High Level Working Group, which will define certain projects of common interest per cooperation sector and to recommend ways for their implementation.
 
Lakkotrypis will return to Cyprus on Thursday night.
