Energy Minister in Bucharest for Informal Council and business forum

Cypriot Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry Giorgos Lakkotrypis is in Bucharest where he will be participating in Tuesday’s Informal Council of EU Energy Ministers and the First Ministerial Meeting of the Eastern Partnership, and to present Cyprus’ advantages at a business forum.
 
The Informal Council will discuss the future of energy systems in the Energy Union. It will be followed by the Ministerial Meeting, which will discuss energy infrastructure and performance.
 
Later on, Lakkotrypis will present the investment opportunities offered in Cyprus, to Cypriot and Romanian participants in the business forum organised in Bucharest by the Ministry of Energy and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the respective chamber of Romania and the Cyprus-Romanian Business Associastion.
 
On the sidelines of the Informal Council, Lakkotrypis will meet with his Romanian counterpart.
 
Lakkotrypis will be returning to Cyprus on Wednesday.
