The Extraordinary General Meeting of Marfin Popular Bank will take place today at 5.00 pm at the Nicosia Conference Centre. Due to its prior agreement with Piraeus Bank, the EGM will not include the resolutions on the submission of the Public Offers. The shareholders will be urged to vote for the allocation of the required number of shares to the shareholders of Marfin Financial Group and Laiki Bank (Hellas) to accept the private offers of the bank within the framework of the three-way merger.
The Board of Directors will also inform the shareholders on the deal with Piraeus Bank.
