Industrial production in Cyprus recorded a slight increase in August, according to Eurostat data released on Wednesday.
Industrial production in Cyprus rose by 1.6% compared to August 2013 against an annual decline of 0.2% in July.
According to the figures, the largest decrease of 8.2% was registered in Denmark.
On the other hand, the highest increase of 17.9% was observed in Ireland.
In Greece, industrial production fell by 6.2% in August.
In EU28, industrial production fell by 0.2% compared to August 2013 while in the euro area it dropped by 0.5%.
Eurostat released data for September 2014 too but they are not available for Cyprus. In September 2014 compared with September 2013, seasonally adjusted industrial production rose by 0.6% in both the euro area and the EU28.
