Cyprus Airways completed successfully the extraordinary plan for the transfer of passengers and adopt it since November 3, 2010, right after the suspension of the Eurocypria flights. According to a CAIR announcement, with this plan the company managed to transfer to their destinations – with 38 chartered flights – almost all tourists that had been affected, eliminating the negative impacts on tourism and economy and protecting the good reputation of Cyprus abroad.

Overall, 5 thousand passengers were transferred with 20 flights to and from Germany, 16 flights to and from Moscow and San Petersburg , one flights to and from Helsinki and one flight to and from Tel Aviv. To execute this flight schedule, it used its two biggest air crafts Airbus 330, while in several cases in leased aircrafts from foreign airlines. It is worth noting that many passengers expressed their content for Cyprus Airways.

On Sunday, one more flight to Moscow with A330 aircrafts has been scheduled, which will transfer Russian citizens, who had made isolated reservations with Eurocypria.
