Cyprus Airways decided to cut the price of the fares to and from Bucharest as from today. According to a CAIR announcement released on Friday, the return tickets in economy class will start from £110 plus the taxes and other charges.
The national carrier also announced that prices in business class will also drop drastically. Specifically, prices for all Sunjet Gold Visa holders will drop to £204 from £315 (-30%), while those who do not hold the said card will enjoy price cuts of £30 - £45.
It is worth noting that Bucharest is a new destination launched on May 14, 2007, with three flights a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). So far, the results are encouraging and Bucharest is a rapidly-developing destination.
