Louis postpones cruise to Lebanon

Due to the latest developments in Lebanon, Louis announced on Thursday that the cruise to Lebanon with IVORY on Friday will be postponed and passengers may travel to Rhodes with the same ship if they wish.

Passengers that do not wish to travel to Rhodes will take a refund. IVORY will sail to Rhodes tomorrow at 5.00 pm and will return on Sunday at 11.00 am.

According to the announcement, “Louis keeps abreast with the developments in the region and will inform the public on the next cruises to Beirut”.

Blasts

According to reports from the Middle East, Israeli forces intensified their attacks in Lebanon and struck Beirut international airport imposing air and sea blockade. Flights have been diverted to other Middle East airports.

This is the first attack of the Israeli air force to southern Lebanon, which has killed 28 people.

According to a Beirut airport source, the international airport has closed and flights have been diverted to Larnaca.

The Foreign Minister of the Republic recommended to the Cypriot citizens not to visit the southern part of Lebanon.
